SILK ROAD TOURS

Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day 02: Beijing
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. (B+L)

Day 03: Beijing
Visit the Badaling Great Wall, the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. (B+L)

Day 04: Beijing
Only the hotel accommodation with breakfast is provided today. We intend to leave the day free for you to absorb something of the vibrant atmosphere of Beijing. (B)

Day 05: Beijing - Urumqi
Visit the Summer Palace. Take a flight to Urumqi and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 06: Urumqi - Kashgar
You will take a morning flight to Kashgar - "the pearl on the Ancient Silk Road". Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. Visit the famous Sunday Market.(B+L)

Day 07: Kashgar - Urumqi - Turpan
Visit the Id Kah Mosque, the Old Street and the Abakh Khoja Tomb. Take a flight to Urumqi and be transferred to Turpan. Check in at the hotel. (B+L)

Day 08: Turpan
Visit the Jiaohe Ruins, the Karez Well and the Sugong Pagoda. (B+L)

Day 09: Turpan - Dunhuang
Visit the Gaochang Ruins, the Baizikeli Thousand Buddha Cave and the Flaming Hill. Take an overnight soft sleeper train to Dunhuang. (B+L)

Day 10: Dunhuang
Pick you up at the railway station and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Mogao Grottoes and the Dunhuang Museum. Breakfast is on your side. (L)

Day 11: Dunhuang - Xian
You will experience a short camel-riding along the Echoing-Sand Dune to reach the Crescent Lake. Take a flight to Xian and transfer to the hotel. (B+L)

Day 12: Xian
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Provincial History Museum. (B+L)

Day 13: Xian - Chongqing
You are suggested to visit the City Wall and the Great Mosque in the morning. Then you are advised to take a shuttle bus to the airport and the bus stop is very near to your hotel. Board the flight to Chongqing by yourselves. Our guide will pick you up at Chongqing airport. Your memorable Yangtze River tour begins at 22:00 as you board the luxurious cruise ship. (B)

Day 14: Fengdu
At about 08:30, visit the Ghost City of Fengdu. The Captain's Welcome Party will be held this evening. (B+L+D)

Day 15: Badong (Shennong Stream) - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping
Visit Badong and take a small junk to enjoy the marvelous spectacles of the nature in the Shennong Stream. Continue sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge. (B+L+D)

Day 16: Yichang - Shanghai
Disembark for an excursion to the under constructed Three Gorges Dam. After lunch, pack your luggage and complete check-out procedures. Drive to Yichang, visit the Yichang Museum if time permits. Take a flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, please go to the hotel we have booked for you by yourselves. (B+L)

Day 17: Shanghai
The hotel accommodation with breakfast is provided today. You are suggested to visit the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden and the Bund on your own. (B)

Day 18: Shanghai
The hotel accommodation with breakfast is provided today. The full day's activities are arranged by yourselves. (B)

Day 19: Departure from Shanghai
You will get to the airport to board your homeward flight by yourselves. (B)
